The final date for registering animals to be "grandfathered" in is September 10. It is essential that all of the regulations on the form are observed. Please send very clear photographs, front and side views.

WHAT IS WRONG WITH THIS PICTURE? AFTER HAVING CHECKED 5 OTHER RESIDENT-OWNED 55+ COMMUNITIES SIMILAR TO OURS, THIS IS WHAT WAS LEARNED: AMERICANA COVE HAS A PET SECTION THAT ALLOWS PETS UINDER 25 POUNDS. CARIBBEAN ISLES ALLOWS NOT ONE BUT 2 PETS PER HOUSEHOLD. THEY CANNOT BE LEFT OUTSIDE AND DOGS MUST BE ON A LEASH. TERRA CEIA AND PARADISE ISLAND BOTH DESCRIBE THEIR PARKS AS "PET FRIENDLY". RANCHERO VILLAGE ALLOWS ONE CAT PER HOUSEHOLD AND THOSE WHO ARE IN THE PET SECTION MAY HAVE A CAT OR DOG. WITH ALL THE RESEARCH ON THE BENEFITS OF A PET FOR SENIORS SHOULDN'T WE RETHINK THIS ISSUE? IN ADDITION, SOME PARKS HAVE FITNESS ROOMS AND COMPUTER LAB ROOM. LET'S GET INTO A 21ST CENTURY MENTALITY!
Oddly enough, we know who Anonymous is....there is nothing wrong with "this" picture, except you. You knew when you moved in here that we were a no pet park. Why didn't you go someplace else, and don't let the door hit you on the way out. Can't you quit rocking the boat.
As administrator of this blog, I decided to let all comments be published, unless they are ridden with obscenities, or downright nasty. I don't know who any "anonymous" is, nor any of the other commenters who have assumed pen names. I really can't guess how one anonymous can know who another one is, but amuse yourselves guessing who's who. Be mindful that disagreement is not a bad thing, but disrespect to one another is intolerable. These topics should all come up in March when we have the annual meeting, and the whole assembly is present to vote.
Now you have this little ole woman upset. Your comparison of our lovely park to Americana Cove, etc. is incomplete, and therefore unacceptable. Their maintenence fees are 25/50% higher, and their financial situation is not nearly as healthy. And this is acceptable to you? Within reason, if the MAJORITY votes, we can have almost anything we want...if you're willing to have a huge maintenence fee increase. As usual, thank goodness you are in the MINORITY.
Dear "little ole woman", I was interested in reading all 4 comments under Pet Registrastion Deadline. Your comments had nothing to do with pets. Your concern was maintenance fees. We are all concerned with maintenance fees and we should all be prepared for an increase in the very near future which I have been told by informed sources is forthcoming. To compare our fees with others, we would need to know what is included as all parks are not the same. As far as the financial health of other parks, it is not possible to know what their condition is without access to their books unless one is clairvoyant.
I am interested in reading all of these comments and have a few of my own, not just on this topic but things that happen in this park. Where do you post general comments?
