If your business is going to take you across the bridge into Pinellas or Clearwater on Saturday, be advised that the Foster Grant Ironman World Competition 70.3 will be held that day. Road closures begin as early as 3am on Saturday morning near the beaches, and into Pinellas by mid-morning.
The event begins with a 1.2-mile swim in the Gulf, followed by a 56-mile bicycle ride through northern and mid-Pinellas County and finishes with a 13.1-mile run through downtown Clearwater.
