Boat Storage Yard Improvements

Today our maintenance crew spent the day preparing the grassy section of the storage lot for the new surfacing which will be installed tomorrow. The weedy grass was removed and a layer of soil stripped, for the placement of crushed shell. This area has been unsightly in the past, occasionally neglected by the lawn crews.

Boats parked here are splashed with mud in rainstorms. The neat clean shell surface will definately be an improvement. The majority of boat owners currently using this lot are paying $400 annually to the park for their docks, and this will soon be raised to $500 annually. The cost of this repair is easily covered by their dock fees.
