For the second time in less than two years, this blog has been under attack, with attempts made to shut it down, or to forbid certain topics to be posted. Living in Paradise was finally, publicly vindicated today by corporate attorney Ellen DeHaan, with 8 board members and the manager listening.
"Come on, people," she exclaimed, "it's Freedom of Speech, the First Amendment! Get with it!"
(or something like that).
I will make some minor revisions, so people who don't know this blog from a hole in the ground will not get confused any more. There is already a NEW IMPROVED DISCLAIMER to the right of this posting (until this gets pushed down into the archives). I only hope that the bronze beauty of the pool persuasion will finally get off of my ass, or just stop signing in.
I am looking for a new logo. Any ideas?

This comment was made BEFORE the attorney meeting, but not posted till now..."I am quite dissapointed that one of our board members, at our 8/19 meeting, had the gall to suggest "the board" discontinue the Blog. Freedom of Speech overules all. Anyone..yes, anyone can have and legally run a blog. It is true that anyone can also go on the internet and read this Blog, however, there is nothing that could be harmful in any way to our association. Meeting Agenda, or whatever. And by the way, our Web site is open to the anyone to. Its like the gate opener....you give it to someone else...all security is lost. Since its inception a little over a year ago, there have been over 38000 visiting this site. Instead of receiveing the Outlook once a month, the Blog keeps you up to date on happenings in this park, disaster information would be available to all IMMEDIATELY. Its a shame that some people don't realize the work that goes into this production, and the good it does. The snowbirds,(and so do the MAJORITY of the other residents) love it..........nuff said.
Thank you Thomas Jefferson and James Madison for the First Amendment.
Thank you Ellen DeHaan, for explaining it to the Board of Directors and thank you Sandy Ross for your dedication and hard work.
AMEN ON THAT..Fortunately the majority of our shareholders are in agreement.
Not sure what we "snowbirds" are
missing out on, but we do really
appreciate all the time and work
Sandy Ross puts in on this website.
It is so professionly done. We would no "nothing" about what is going on in "our" park without
this website. Thank you, Sandy,
and keep up the good work!
Wow, thanks to all of you!
