A board meeting has been called for Monday, Jan. 11, 2010 at 10 am. It was posted in the Information Room on Friday.
One topic of business will be conducted, regarding another engineering study for the seawall. If you can make it, please come.

The monthly meeting of the board of directors will be held tomorrow at 2pm. A few items to be discussed will be promotion of the park, rent increases, and the new home on B9-L23.

Today at 2:00 there will be a meeting of the board of directors at Goodwin Hall.

Nov 22 Board Meeting postponed

Due to illness and absence, the Nov 22 meeting of the Board of Directors was postponed. We apologize for any inconvenience to the residents of Regency Cove. The meeting will be held November 29, 2008 at 10 am at the clubhouse. We look forward to seeing you there.

A Board meeting has been announced for Saturday Feb 16, at 10 am. It is rumored that the seawall will be discussed and voted on by the Board. This will be an information meeting for the residents, because it appears that the seawall engineer Reuben Clarson will be present to answer your questions, and so will an officer from First Community Bank.

Seawall Consultant To Report at Board Meeting

Reuben H. Clarson, the consultant who was hired to evaluate our seawall this summer, will be present to speak and answer questions at the Board meeting this Saturday November 17, 2007, at 10 am.

Board Meeting August 25

The meeting began with a sincere apology from Ellen for rushing through the agenda last week, and not allowing residents to speak. A similar agenda was covered today, but after each agenda item, residents were allowed to speak for one minute on each topic. The pet rule had by far the most comments, and people are still scratching their heads about how and why the animals are being allowed to remain.

There appears to be a litigious group of individuals in this park who throw the word lawsuit around as commonly as others use "please and thank you". The board is simply following the recommendations of their attorney to save you, the home owners, the expense of mediation and litigation. No one is happy with the end results.

Ron proposed a motion that would allow us to form a committee to handle the fine appeals that are being allowed once the procedure goes into effect. Fines can be traffic-oriented, pet oriented, or any other infraction of the rules and regulations. The members of the committee will be non-board members, and they will not be related in any way to a board member. A true jury of your peers.
The process is working in other parks and homeowner associations, and we have confidence that it will work here. The point is not to get your money, they are striving for compliance.

Board Meeting August 18

Sorry for the delay....

The agenda had only 4 items. The minutes were read from the May 19 meeting.

After receiving the recommendations of the attorney regarding the pet violations in the park, the following motion was made:
"I move that the board of directors readopt and republish all provisions of the governing documents, including the rules and regulations; including reestablishing the restrictions against pets; that we grandfather in any current violations which have not been enforced in the past; and we fully enforce all future violations, from this point onward, beginning August 18, 2007."
The motion carried.

Ellen reported that the final report on the seawall inspection will be given on Aug. 20 by Reuben Clarsen.

Ellen further stated that the apartment renovation is near completion by Hannah Construction, and a motion was made to pay the $19,932 bill.

Finally, the clubhouse handicapped bathroom project is set to begin this week, and the laundry clotheslines should be used with care as this is the new construction area. Concrete will be removed here.

The meeting was suddenly adjourned. Not all the board members were happy with the way the meeting ended.
