If your water service was temporarily interrupted this afternoon between 2 and 3, it was due to a broken water pipe on the western end of Canal. Our maintenance crew jumped in and dug out a hole large enough for two guys to stand waist deep. Several houses on Canal had a serious puddle at the front sidewalks. As usual, the crew saved the day!
