NBC crew here

The NBC Today Show crew was in the park this afternoon filming our statue of Jose Gaspar and Ron Jeffries as well. They are doing a piece on the history of pirates in the Tampa area, and the new history center downtown directed them to us. We apparently have the only statue of Gaspar in the world. Meredith Viera is in town and will take a ride with one of the Krewe's tomorrow. The piece will air on Sunday morning between 9 and 11am on NBC.
