Silent Supermen

Every association has its heroes. These are the guys who go out to get the job done, they want no notoriety. They realize that there is a job to be done, and with no fanfare, no photos, no blog recognition, they do what has to be done.

Our park witnessed such an event early on the morning of January 1st, when our "Silent Superman" Tony Sencich went out to Blvd 7 sometime around 5:30 am, to continue the job of removing the stones that was begun on Dec. 27 by a crew of volunteers.Tony worked for 4 hours shoveling and raking the stones. Sometime during the morning, resident Wes Rice picked up a shovel and joined Tony in the process. Wes put in a couple hours himself.

It took four hours, but these two super heroes worked silently, diligently, and completed the job.

I don't even have one photo to post of these guys working , because they did it on their own, while we were sleeping.

Please thank them.
