Fence Repairs

The northern fence has been repaired and the area cleared of shrubbery, to secure the area from thieves. It is believed that this is where the bad people are passing our bikes over the fence into deserted Georgetown. The barbed wire on the top had been cut, and the top horizontal pipe had been severed, allowing easy access between the properties. The foliage was so thick there that the thieves were protected from sight.
"A new 8 foot wooden privacy fence would probably run around $3,000", Ed Scobee said. In the meantime, the maintenance crew will continue to patch it up.
